Top Bamboo Clothing Manufacturer in India

Making bamboo apparel can be a compliance nightmare. Terms like Viscose, Rayon, and Lyocell are widely misunderstood, while testing labs like Eurofins identify the material as Viscose, not "bamboo.

At NoName, we help emerging brands build transparent, legally compliant bamboo collections using
FSC-certified responsible forestry and OEKO-TEX-compliant processing from top-tier mills. This protects your brand from greenwashing, misleading claims, and compliance failures.

Bamboo Viscose

MOQ 100 units/SKU and 500 pcs/fabric.

Bamboo Lyocell

MOQ 200/SKU and 1,000 pcs/fabric.

We give you complete visibility into your material origin, ensuring your supply chain matches your brand's ethical standards.

Choose the Right Bamboo Fabric for Your Brand

Bamboo is an exceptionally soft, fluid, and breathable fibre that takes rich dyes brilliantly. Known for its moisture-wicking comfort and smooth hand-feel that is gentle on sensitive skin, bamboo elevates everyday apparel with a luxurious, premium drape.

Bamboo Apparel in Your Brand Colours & Finishes

Bamboo fabrics can be dyed to any specific Pantone colour of your choice. We can help you get the fabric dyed at the mill itself, using low water consumption and wastewater recycling techniques, testing for colour fastness, and perfectly matching the colours you specify.

What Can We Manufacture in Bamboo?

Bamboo is a versatile fabric that can be used for a wide range of styles, and we have made a bunch of collections for various fashion brands worldwide that include T-shirts, Hoodies, Sleepwear, Maternity clothing, & even Formal office wear, but it is best suited for garments that benefit from exceptional softness, fluid drape, & breathability.

Sleepwear & Nightwear - Smooth, cool, and gentle on sensitive skin, bamboo makes luxurious sleep sets, nightshirts, and baby/kid sleepwear.

Loungewear & Co-ord Sets: Its fluid drape gives trousers, joggers, and lounge tops a relaxed, high-end look without feeling stiff.

T-Shirts & Everyday Basics: Bamboo jersey and rib knits create breathable, premium-feeling tees and tops that sit comfortably against the body.

Activewear & Yoga Wear: Bamboo-cotton and bamboo-spandex blends offer breathability and a comfortable, moisture-wicking feel for yoga wear, leggings, and activewear.

Bamboo is less suited for heavy-duty outerwear or stiff structured shirts, but its softness and drape make it ideal for comfort, movement, and next-to-skin luxury.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who is the Best bamboo clothing manufacturer in India?

NoName is a leading bamboo clothing manufacturer in India, helping small/midsize fashion brands & startups develop genuine bamboo-based garments from fabric sourcing and sampling through manufacturing, quality control, and export. We work with fashion brands and corporate customers in more than 25 countries.

2. How does sampling & production work?

We look at Sampling as a step in the manufacturing process and not as a service in isolation. Therefore, we accept limited pre-order sampling requests only after we have clarity on your final collection and production viability. The sampling & manufacturing process is well-defined and milestone-based, for clarity and transparency.

3. Why does Bamboo cost more?

Unlike standard conventional cotton, processing bamboo involves multi-stage dissolving, solvent recovery (especially for eco-friendly lyocell), and dedicated mill runs to prevent batch contamination. Furthermore, because large-scale mills have very high MOQs, small-batch runs become relatively expensive. But still, it has lower cost and lower MOQ than Lyocell / Tencel.

4. How long does it take to manufacture bamboo clothing?

Sampling and production timelines depend on fabric availability, product complexity, and approvals. Once the required materials and specifications are confirmed, our standard production timeline is generally 45–60 days after all approvals.

5. What is the legal and compliance risk with Bamboo?

Regulatory bodies like the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and UK/EU authorities (under regulations like UK REACH / EU Regulation 1007/2011) strictly enforce that you cannot market or label a chemically regenerated fiber as simply "bamboo" unless it is mechanically processed (which is exceptionally rare and expensive). Legally, it must be labeled as "Rayon made from bamboo" or "Viscose from bamboo". The FTC has routinely fined major retailers for selling chemical-based textiles labeled as plain "bamboo".

6. How does NoName ensure regulatory compliance?

NoName ensures correct labelling as per your country’s specific import rules, secures verified mill invoices, and prevents common documentation mistakes under UK REACH and US CPSC regulations. NoName also collaborates with independent testing laboratories like Eurofins to rigorously test shrinkage and colorfastness before cutting & stitching begins.
